Error Codes

All errors from the Konsentus API will return a unique error code that correlates to the type of error that has occurred. On this page you can see a full list of the errors that are given by the Konsentus API and what they mean.

account_id_invalid
The account ID provided is invalid. Check that your requests are specifying a valid account ID.
account_id_missing
The account ID parameter is required and the value is missing. Check that your requests are specifying an account ID.
authentication_error
Failed to successfully authenticate in the request.
auth_code_expired
The authorization code provided in the request has expired. Obtain another authorization code before retrying.
auth_code_invalid
The authorization code provided in the request was not found. Check that your requests are specifying a valid authorization code, or obtain another authorization code before retrying.
ccg_token_invalid
The CCG token provided is invalid. Check that your requests are specifying a valid CCG token.
certificate_encoding_invalid
The encoding of the certificate in the request is not valid. Check our API documentation for details on valid encoding of the eIDAS certificate.
consent_id_invalid
The consent ID provided is invalid. Check that your requests are specifying a valid consent ID.
consent_id_missing
The consent ID parameter is required and the value is missing. Check that your requests are specifying a consent ID.
create_ocsp_request_error
Could not create an OCSP request for the certificate.
crl_network_error
A network error occured while retrieving the Certificate Revocation List.
crl_verification_error
The signature of the Certificate Revocation List could not be verified.
eidas_certificate_expired
The eIDAS certificate provided in the request has expired. Check that requests are specifying valid eIDAS certificates.
eidas_certificate_inactive
The eIDAS certificate provided in the request is not yet active. Check that requests are specifying active eIDAS certificates.
eidas_certificate_invalid
The eDIAS certificate provided in the request is not valid. Check that requests are specifying valid eIDAS certificates.
eidas_certificate_missing
The eIDAS certificate is required in the request. Check our API documentation to what values are required and make sure all requests include required fields.
eidas_certificate_revoked
The eIDAS certificate provided in the request has been revoked by the QTSP. Check that requests are specifying valid eIDAS certificates.
eidas_encoding_invalid
The encoding of the eIDAS certificate in the request is not valid. Check our API documentation for details on valid encoding of the eIDAS certificate.
fi_auth_missing
The fi auth header is required and the value is missing. Check that your requests are specifying an fi auth in the header.
internal_error
An unexpected error occurred.
invalid_jurisdiction
The jurisdiction in the request is invalid. Please check our API documentation for a list of valid jurisdictions.
invalid_scope
Invalid scope provided.
issuer_certificate_network_error
A network error occured while retrieving the Issuer Certificate.
jurisdiction_missing
The jurisdiction is missing from the request. Check our API documentation to what values are required and make sure all requests include required fields.
method_not_allowed
The HTTP request method is known by the server but is not supported by the target resource.
not_acceptable
The server only accepts Content-Type: application/json, please set the appropriate header and resend the request.
not_found
The specified resource could not be found.
no_crl_url_error
The certificate does not provide a URL for its Certificate Revocation List.
no_issuer_certificate_url_error
The certificate does not provide a URL for its Issuer Certificate.
ocsp_response_network_error
A network error occured while requesting the OCSP response.
parameter_invalid
One or more of the parameter values provided were an incorrect data type. Make sure that only supported values are provided for each attribute. Refer to our API documentation to look up the type of data each attribute supports.
parameter_missing
One or more required values are missing. Check our API documentation to see which values are required and make sure requests include all required parameters.
parameter_unknown
The request contains one or more unexpected parameters. Remove these and try again.
parse_asn1_error
Failure parsing ASN1. Check our API documentation for details on valid encoding of the eIDAS certificate.
parse_basic_ocsp_response_error
An error occured while parsing the basic OCSP response.
parse_ocsp_response_error
An error occured while parsing the OCSP response.
payment_service_invalid
The PSD2 role provided in the request is invalid. Check that the role you are requesting is a valid. Refer to our API documentation to look up PSD2 roles supported.
qtsp_invalid
The QTSP provided is invalid. Check that your eIDAS Certificate is specifying a valid QTSP.
query_params_not_allowed
Query Parameters are not allowed for this endpoint, please remove all query parameters from your request
response_type_invalid
The response type is required to equal 'code', this was not provided in the request.
service_unavailable
The server is not ready to handle the request. Common causes are a server that is down for maintenance or that is overloaded.
token_invalid
The token provided in the request was not found. Check that your requests are specifying a valid token.
token_missing
The token parameter is required and the value is missing. Check that your requests are specifying a token.
token_type_unsupported
The token provided in the request is not supported, payment tokens cannot be revoked. Check out API documentation for more information on revoking tokens.
too_many_requests
Too many requests, please try again later.
tpp_id_inactive
The client ID provided in the request is inactive on the CA Database. Check that your requests are specifying a valid client ID.
psp_id_not_found
The psp ID provided in the request was not found on the CA database. Check that your requests are specifying a valid psp ID.
uri_invalid
The URI provided is invalid. Check that your requests are specifying a valid URI and the one provided in the authorization code request.
verify_ocsp_response_error
Could not verify the signature of the OCSP response.
